"De tijd gaat snel/Czas płynie szybko"... Time for a new post. In order to help You to get a bit of a feeling for the schedule of the wedding weekend, we would like to present to you the following highlights. Some of the details still need to be arranged therefore will be posted later when things are confirmed. We would like to invite you to consult this post regularly, as new info will be added the closer we get to the end of May :)
General remark: the dress code during the Saturday is formal! On Sunday, the dress code is casual.
Friday
Guests that arrive during the day will be welcomed by either one of the ceremony masters (Marleen and Marcin) or by the happy couple. There is no organized event buy you can use all facilities of the hotel & it's surroundings (lake, woods, swimming pool, sauna, restaurant & bar). Erik and his family will spend the night in the hotel.
Saturday
8:30-11:00 Breakfast is being served
14:45 Departure bus (and cars) from Palac Maciejewo to Szczecin
16:00 Start service in the St. Jacobs church, Szczecin. The service will be in Polish, w certain parts in English/Dutch, but a English printed liturgy will be provided for non-Polish guests.
17:00 Congratulations outside the church
18:30 Reception by parents and quests at Palac Maciejewo, picture moment
19:00-...? Diner and party, party, party...
Sunday
For this day we plan to continue our celebration together with You having a BBQ and playing polish and dutch games. IF YOU HAVE NICE SUGGESTIONS FOR GAMES (small scale, easy to bring), please send your suggestion to the ceremony masters at erikenania@yahoo.com. In case of bad weather, we will try to arrange alternatives, but the pool/sauna and BBQ will still be available!
Also, if you have guitar or any other 'easy' to bring instrument, please feel free to bring it and show your music skills!
"Czas płynie szybko/De tijd gaat snel"... Czas na kolejny post. Abyście wiedzieli czego się spodziewać w ten wyjątkowy majowy weekend, chcielibyśmy w tym miejscu zmieścić program naszego ślubnego dnia. Jeszcze sporo musi być zorganizowane i czas potwierdzony, ale im bliżej naszej uroczystości, tym więcej informacji bedziecie mogli tu znaleźć. Zapraszamy więc do powracania do tego postu a my będziemy nad nim pracować aż do 29 maja :)
